Hello! I’m Erin.

I’m a digital and film photographer currently based in my hometown of Austin, Texas. With five years of experience behind the camera, I’ve acquired a deep affinity for capturing the beauty of both land and cityscapes.

My fascination with the natural world dates back to my early years as a kid, where I’d lose myself in magazines showcasing landscape imagery that seemed beyond imagination. This fascination led me to pursue a degree in biology at the University of Texas at Austin, though caught in the monotony of college life, I eventually realized I was missing a creative outlet.

The spark for photography ignited when I snapped a close-up shot of a hummingbird with my phone. I saved up money and invested in my first DSLR, a Canon T5. I soon after began exploring local greenbelts and parks. As I ventured through Austin’s parks, I started to expand my horizons, embarking on longer adventures in search of hidden waterfalls and scenic views around the Texas Hill Country.

Over time, my passion for photography has led me to explore far and wide across not only Texas, but the United States. From the Californian West Coast to the New England East Coast, I’ve visited and photographed the most incredible scenery from deserts, mountains and beaches to the the busiest bustling urban streets of the major metropolitan cities.

As I’ve honed my photography skills, I’ve enjoyed sharing my adventures and experiences with others. And thus this website was created. A place where I could not only showcase my work but invite others to join me on this visual journey on how I personally view and experience the world.
